Guidelines for Article Submissions


All are welcome to contribute original articles for publication, regardless of qualifications or previous publishing experience. However, all submissions are subjected to a stringent vetting process. 

To increase your chances of being published, please structure your submission according to the following guidelines:

• submissions should be theoretical and methodological in scope, or else present new information on the basis of primary source research
• research reports, review pieces, and commentary on media coverage are all encouraged. Expositions of particular cases - of hauntings or UFO sightings, for example, are encouraged, but they must provide  a critical perspective on the narrative. 
• Theories on the causes and effects of anomalous phenomena are encouraged, although all speculation should be empirically-grounded ​
• writing should be analytical in tone and structure, and with the objective to elucidate, and not only to entertain
• factual claims should be supported, and references should be cited in consistent style
